The Scottish Government announced there is to be a Public Local Inquiry into Keirs Hill Wind Farm. Everyone who responded to the Application ought to have been contacted. If you wrote, emailed or sent a post card commenting on the Application and have not been contacted please let us know, even if you do not wish to take part in the Inquiry.
We are aware that some people have not been contacted who should have been and we want to help the Directorate for Planning and Environmental Appeals (DPEA) by letting them know who has not been included. It may well be an administrative error or some addresses have been lost when the system was upgraded. Either way it is important that all those who responded should be given the opportunity to speak or add to their comments if they wish. Please email us at email@example.com
If you have received an invitation to take part we would urge you to do so. This is the last chance to defeat the Keirs Hill proposal. The more voices the Reporter hears the more impact our objection will have. If you would like help or advice with your submission – please ask – we will be pleased to assist.
If all the companies who want to put up all the turbines they propose I reckon all the glens & valleys will turn into something similar to the Somerset Levels. None of the companies has come up with an answer as to where all the displaced water will go, Once the land has been ravaged it will never recover,
How much Co2 is produced during the manufacture of each turbine and transportation of same? that’s another question I haven’t heard an answer to.
